Come and see our Degree Shows!

The Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries Graduate Show will exhibit a diverse range of work from students across all of our creative courses. The four schools will come together for the first time, in the University's newly extended and refurbished Eldon Building.

Come and see all the fantastic work our students have been producing in the run up to their graduation! Illustration has a newly refurbished studio space, but we're still in the same location on the third floor. Be great to see you all there.

Preview Evening: Friday 30th May, 5-9pm

The Show will be open between Saturday 31st May - Friday 6th June, 10am -4pm (excluding Sunday 1st June) Free entry to the public.

Here's a short film of one of our final year student's Sophie Pearce talking about her self-directed project...

Address: Eldon Building, Winston Churchill Avenue, Portsmouth, Hampshire, PO1 2DJ

Well done to the level 6 students chosen for the St Edmunds competition

Student art brightens school and inspires pupils

The headmaster at St Edmund’s School in Portsmouth, Simon Graham, wanted to liven up the school environment with original and varied art work and offered the opportunity to students in the University’s faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries. The University already has strong links with St Edmund’s as some students in the faculty, known as ‘creative crew’ support pupils in creative areas of the curriculum.

Entries included canvasses, textiles, photographs, posters and inspirational text and before entering, all interested students had the opportunity to walk round the school and see the proposed sites for their artwork.
Headmaster Mr Graham said: “I would like to thank all the students who entered the competition and gave of their time and energy. The standard was extremely high and there was a great array of talent and variety of ideas which I have no doubt will lead on to successful futures.”
