Alumni - Ross Holden

Ross Holden's work is featured in Eyestorm Magazine.
Ross graduated in 1996.

"Inspired by star constellations and past civilizations, Ross Holden’s new large scale limited edition encourages us to consider the beauty of our everyday surroundings and the brevity of human life.

The photographs for Ross Holden’s most recent limited edition, titled Dynamical Parallax (Polka Dot Umbrella), were taken over a period of two and a half years while the artist travelled through Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Venezuela. Large in scale at over two metres wide, the compelling work sees Holden continue to piece together fragmented imagery to create an impressive mosaic of pattern and colour while presenting an observation of everyday life that surrounds us, as seen in previous works such as the ‘Static’ series from 2015."
